That is a serious question that you should really take some personal time to answer. If you?ve never thought about it before, chances are your really not looking for anything.

Hopefully, if you?ve been a student of successful living you currently have several written goals you hope to achieve sometime in the near future. But are you looking for those goals on a daily, hourly or even a minute by minute basis?

If one of your goals is to become financially successful then you should ask your self ?How often during each day am I actively looking for financial success?? The answer to this question might surprise you. Because, you can think about and plan for a specific goal, but until you actively look for it, you?ll never be able to see it. If you can?t see an opportunity, do you think you?ll ever take advantage of it?

You must realize that you will only see what you are looking for in your life. You will not see anything more or less than you look for. The script does not say ?think and ye shall find?, it says ?SEEK and ye shall find.? Until you start looking for the success you want, you?ll never be able to find it.

Let me give you an example. In order to get the most from this article you must participate fully in this exercise. If you will do the things I ask then you?ll never forget the main point I am trying to make.

First, take a few moments right now to look around you and find at least 3 specific things that are red in color. It doesn?t matter how big or small or how close or far away. Just find 3 things that are red. Now, if your wearing red clothing that doesn?t really count because you would have known that was red without looking at it. Try to really notice 3 things that are red around you that you may not have previously noticed.

Don?t read any further until you?ve found your red items!

Now, here?s a challenge for you, from this point on, DO NOT LOOK AROUND YOU ANY MORE. Don?t look away from this paper (or screen) even for a moment. Now, without looking away, try to remember at least one thing you saw around you that was green. That?s right, green. If your wearing green clothes or sitting in a green chair, that doesn?t count. You must remember something that was green but not something you can remember as being green from before.

Chances are you cannot remember anything specific that is green. But now if you carefully look around you, you will see several items that are green.

Why didn?t you notice the green items before? Why didn?t you see them? I can tell you exactly why; you weren?t looking for green items! Your mind can only see what you are looking for and nothing else! Have you ever bought a new car and then suddenly see them all over town? Or did you ever get a new shirt and then see people wearing it everywhere you go? That is because you started looking for those things.

So now, after this exercise can you truly say that you are looking for opportunity and financial success? If you see it everywhere you go and can?t get away from it then you may be looking for it. If it?s been a while since you saw a genuine opportunity then chances are you haven?t been really looking for one.

I can now say that I see more opportunity and abundance all around me in a single day than I used to see in years.

If you will start looking for opportunity, wealth, happiness and success you will see it all around you. And guess what, you won?t even have to leave your town! It?s all around you.
